Queensland Construction and Engineering Pty Ltd is a Family Operated Steel Fabrication Workshop, established in 1995 and located in the Carole Park Industrial Estate - servicing Clients locally throughout Ipswich / Brisbane areas as well as both Nationally and Internationally. QCE strives to provide products and services that meet or exceed the standards prescribed by our Clients - On Time.

We aspire to be a leading provider throughout the Industry through our diverse operations - supported by a culture of Teamwork, Innovation, Integrity and Performance. QCE has a solid track record of Safe and effective manufacturing of a diverse range of Construction Projects for Clients throughout Australia.

Our Workshop Capabilities extend from simple Plate Work through to Large Mining Structures. We have experience in Mild Steel, Stainless and Aluminium and pride ourselves on the ability to make almost anything!

Michael Morton - Company Director / Estimator

With over 30 Years Industry Experience, Michael has been the Director of Queensland Construction & Engineering since 1999. Completing his Boilermaking Trade back in 1979, Michael spent time as Workshop Manager in some of Brisbane's Largest Workshops before taking the helm at QCE. His 110% commitment to getting the Job done has earned him the reputation of being one of the most reliable people in the Business.

Joshua Morton - Office Manager / Accounts

Joshua comes from a background of Customer Service, Insurance and Banking. Joining QCE in 2005, Joshua is responsible for all duties involved in the everyday running of the Business. He handles all enquiries regarding Employees, Taxation, Accounts, Marketing and everything inbetween.

Jeremy Morton - Production Manager / Purchasing / Estimator

Starting with the Company as a School-Based Apprentice back in 2001, Jeremy has experienced firsthand each facet of the QCE culture and everything that has brought the Company to the Position it is in today. After a successful stint in the Workshop, Jeremy is now responsible for Quoting New Jobs, Prodution Management and General Purchasing. He also keeps a pro-active Role in improving the experience for new Apprentices and Employees alike.

Bob Meibusch - Workshop Supervisor / QA Inspector

With nearly 20 Years Experience in Senior Roles, Bob joined QCE as the Workshop Supervisor and Quality Assurance Inspector in 1999. Bob is responsible for ensuring QCE meets Completion Dates and Quality Specifications set by our Clients - while ensuring the Workshop and our Employees continue to function safely and efficiently. Bob brings innovative thinking and shows committment to the Job through his tireless work ethic.

Mark Olsen - Logistics Co-ordinator / Goods & Materials Inwards & Outwards

Mark began his empoyment with QCE in 2003, before returning in 2006 and has since become an integral figure in the general functioning of the Workshop. Together with Bob, Mark ensures the Workshop is Stocked with everything required for QCE to meet the requirements of the Job. As the Controller of our Transport and all Items inwards & outwards, Mark's attention to detail along with his enthusiasm and never say never attitude, ensure everything is where it needs to be, when it needs to be there.
